In children yoga classes children have the space to reconnect back to themselves, start practicing the Asanas in a fun way and get familiar with mindfulness exercises.
If you live in Zürich I am also happy to accommodate private classes at the convenience of your home. How about inviting your kid’s friends over to your home for a small group class! I will bring the mats and all necessary materials for the class. Please contact me directly for more information on private classes.

Mommy/Daddy and kid yoga class
Are you yourself a yoga practitioner and would you like to involve your child into your practice?
Never tried yoga? Are you ready to dust off your tired muscles and sprinkle some stardust on you? Ready to travel to the moon and back with your co-pilot Tiny Heart?
Come and join us for our mommy/daddy and kid classes! Practice yoga with your child and enjoy these 90 minutes to disconnect from the world and to connect back to yourself and to your child.
What can you expect?
- some seriously funny duo exercises,
- learning yoga asanas in a very different way,
- yoga games to warm up and focus exercises to stay centered,
- easy and fun breathing exercises,
- working on stability and mobility,
- developing your senses with aroma oils and different musical instruments.
Classes are held in German and I provide English explanation to the parents, if required.
What happens in a children yoga class?
“They did not know it was impossible so they did it” /Mark Twain/
Kids jump, stretch, sit with their eyes closed, they travel the world on their mats – it`s an endless discovery of themselves. Children get centered and practice yoga just like we adults do. Well, they bark in Downward Facing Dog, they splash water in their Elephant Asana, they slide down a snowy hill as a sledge with their mats, and the journey goes on and on.
For children this yoga class is a chance to get familiar with the Asanas, practicing their balance, stretching and developing their muscles, while having fun and broadening their horizon. They practice focusing on their breath allowing themselves to slow down and understand what their body is doing and feeling.
Please note that my children yoga classes are limited to schools and kindergartens. At this time, I don`t offer any open children yoga classes.

Body awareness and good posture
Developing body awareness and good posture is a crucial part of becoming healthy adults.

Mindfulness exercises
Through the mindfulness exercises children can better manage stress and use these techniques in their everyday lives.

Concentration
As they move and replicate what they see, their concentration is encouraged and their focus is strengthened.
